 Master Troy Gaines Sr.

Master Gaines is the Founder of Ohio Taekwondo Academy. Master Gaines has been studying martial arts for over 41 years. He currently holds the rank of:

7th Degree Master in Taekwondo

5th Degree Master in GHA Hapkido

4th Degree Master in Tang Soo Do

4th Degree Master in Moo Moo Kwan Hapkido

Master Gaines is a certified Taekwondo, Hapkido, and Tang Soo Do instructor.  

 Master Troy M. Gaines 

Master Troy M. Gaines has over 18 years of martial arts experience. Master Gaines currently holds the rank of:

• 5th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo
  

Master Troy M. Gaines is the second highest Instructor at Ohio Taekwondo Academy.

Master Lahai Adama Karmo

Master Karmo has been studying Taekwondo for over 11 years. He currently holds the rank of: 

• 4th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo
  

Master Karmo is a two time State Champion and a two time Silver Medalist at Nationals

Master Valda Freeman-Karmo

​Mrs. Valda Freeman-Karmo has been studying Taekwondo for over 15 years. Master Valda Freeman-Karmo currently holds the rank of:   

• 4th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo
  

Master Krishna Mungur 

Master Krishna Mungur has been studying Taekwondo for over 15 years. Master Mungur currently holds the rank of:

• 4th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo

Karen D. Gaines
